Following the transition of three major Blackpool attractions from Merlin Entertainments to Blackpool Tourism, all three needed new websites ahead of the main season.
Implementing a LOOP website for multiple attraction brands
The challenge was not just building three new sites, it was doing it quickly, consistently, and in a way that gave the Blackpool Tourism team ongoing control without creating a management burden.
There were some unique technical challenges to enable the Madame Tussauds and Dungeons brands to run within the URL / subfolder structure of the overall brands. This led several updates to core LOOP to enable this for Blackpool Tourism, but it's also something future LOOP clients can benefit from.
LOOP's multi-brand setup gave the team distinct designs for each brand along with a centralised CMS to streamline ongoing updates and future location rollouts.
